France’s SFR launches the HTC Legend with a touch of red

Vodafone may have an exclusive on the HTC Legend in the UK, but that’s not stopping other carriers across Europe from offering up one of the sleekest Android phones available.  If you live in France and were hoping to get your hands on the new HTC Legend, SFR is now selling the handset for 29€ with rate plans between 50-70€.  If you’re not willing to sign a new contract, SFR is willing to hand over the HTC Legend for 379€ (roughly $520).   Specs on the SFR HTC Legend are identical to what HTC announced at Mobile World congress last month, though SFR has added a few touches of their own to the handset.  As you can plainly see from the picture, the SFR HTC Legend features red accents on the exterior of the handset, giving it a distinct look that will set it apart from the standard unlocked Legend. SFR has also taken the red accents inside the phone as well, by adding of few of their own applications, including an SFR account manager where customers can view and manage their bills, SFR Wi-Fi which grants access to SFR’s hotspots, and SFR TV for mobile entertainment on the go.

SFR is currently taking orders for the HTC Legend through their website and will make is available at all their retail locations starting March 30.
