Microsoft’s Windows Phone press event set for February 15th

Here at HTC Source, we’ve been covering a lot of Android related new lately. For those of you who are still looking for Windows Mobile news, it’s coming… we hope. We’re hoping that HTC will be releasing news on three new Windows Mobile handsets that we’re leaked on HTC’s 2010 first half lineup (HTC Trophy, Photon, and Tera). According to the documents we have already seen, we’re not expecting anything incredible. But it will be nice to see HTC refine their lineup and offer a refreshed look for their handsets. The biggest Windows Mobile news coming out of Mobile World Congress may actually come from Microsoft. The creators of the OS are expected to unveil Windows Mobile 7 for the first time. Microsoft is holding a press event on Monday, February 15. Since Mobile World Congress is all about mobile, we’re expecting quite a bit of news on the OS and maybe even some new mobile services form Microsoft. The event kicks off at 3pm local time (Barcelona).
