HTC Legend clears the FCC, heading to At&t?

HTC is hard at work to get the new HTC Desire and HTC Legend lined up with carriers across the blog. Last week we say a half dozen or so European carriers jump on board with HTC, but as usual there has been no announcement from U.S. carriers.

Fortunately, we can rely on the FCC to give us a little sneak peak of what’s coming down the pipelines in the next few months. Yesterday afternoon, the guys from AndroPhone spotted a filing for the HTC Legend in the FCC’s archives. At this point, there’s no indication of which carrier would be offering the HTC Legend, though there’s a pretty strong case pointing towards At&t.

Just last week, At&t announced that they would be selling the upcoming Motorola Baclflip as their first Android phone. They also noted that At&t would be offering a total of five Android phones withing the coming months, one of them being an exclusive offering from HTC. An At&t HTC Legend would look great lined up right next to an iPhone, don’t you think?
