myTouch 3G Slide gets caught on camera

It’s always nice to finish off the weekend with a big bang! We present to you the first pictures of the HTC made T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide (or the myTouch 3G 2 depending on what you want to believe). As promised, the newest HTC Android phone in the myTouch family features a full QWERTY keyboard, 320×480 screen resolution, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a 1300 mAh battery. Unlike the other HTC handsets currently on the market, the myTouch 3G Slide is sporting a small clickable track pad rather than the traditional trackball. Functionality should essentially be the same, but we’re not sure why HTC has chosen a track pad over the optical joystick on the upcoming HTC Bravo.

Specs we know so far:

  • ARM11 processor (most likely the same Qualcomm MSM7201A as other HTC devices)
  • 1300mAr battery
  • microSD card slot
  • trackpad with an integrated push button.
  • Camera with LED flash
  • Slide-out 4 row QWERTY keyboard
  • 320×480 screen resolution
  • 3.5 mm Headset Jack

Hmm, I’m not sure how I feel about the new look. But at least they got the headset & camera flash right this time.
