O2 HTC HD2 now avaialble for FREE in the UK

I’m sure by now you’re all tired of hearing news about the best Windows Mobile phone ever made. Well… tough luck, we have more! HTC is continuing the rollout of the HTC HD2 in the UK with the release on O2. Just like the HTC HD2 that was released on Vodafone UK two weeks ago, the O2 version of the handset will also be available for free. O2 customers will need to sign a new 18 month agreement which will cost £45 per month. Though O2 has always been a huge supporter of HTC products, the HD2 will be the first handset to launch under the HTC brand. All previous HTC handsets were released under the XDA brand.

The O2 HTC HD2 features Windows Mobile 6.5, 4.3 inch WVGA touchscreen display, HTC’s Sense UI, HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, 3.5mm headset jack, Twitter and Facebook integration, 5MP autofocus camera, and a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The HD2 is available in stores and over the phone, though there’s no indication of when O2 will make it avaialbe through their website.
