HTC Whitestone is now the Verizon HTC Imagio – launching October 6th

Earlier this week, Microsoft announced that they had a few U.S. carriers lined up to release new phones on October 6th to mark the global launch of the new Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system. Apparently, Verizon has chosen to launch the HTC Imagio (aka the HTC Whitestone) to help promote the arrival of Windows Mobile 6.5 to their network. We still don’t have any new images of the handset, but with a launch date less than three weeks away, I’m sure something will be surfacing soon.

I’ve added the HTC Imagio to the HTC calendar on the site hand side of the site. Don’t forgtet to add the calendar to your Google calendar so you can keep track of all the unpoming HTC release information.
