The T-Mobile myTouch 3G shows up in retails stores across the country

After months of planning, the T-Mobile myTouch 3G (HTC Magic) is finally on sale through T-Mobile retail locations across the country and their website. T-Mobile’s myTouch 3G doesn’t really offer anything different than the HTC Magic that has been on sale in Europe for a few months already, but it is the second Android powered handset to hit the U.S. market. If you have not already pre-ordered your new phone, you can head in to a T-Mobile location to pick one up for $199 with a new two year contract. The myTouch 3G is available in white, black, and merlot. But if you’re a bit more daring, T-Mobile has a slew of cases and covers on sale so that you can customize your myTouch to your heart’s content.

Anyone planning on picking one up today? My wife has told me I’m not allowed to buy another Android phone since I just purchased the HTC Touch Pro. I will however be heading into my T-mobile store later on this morning to get my first hands-on impressions of the new myTouch 3G. After the jump, there are a few more pictures of the new phone and some of the accessories that T-mobile will be pushing when you make your purchase. Anyone think the new myTouch 3G dock will work with my G1?
