HTC Dream memory limitations could keep you in the cupcake ages


The past few weeks have been filled with speculation about the next OS upgrades that are expected to hit Android later this year. As of right now, the Donut development branch appears to be the closest to hit the streets. unfortunately, if you’re a proud owner of the HTC Dream, T-Mobile G1, or any other phone that looks like the one above, you’re probably out of luck. Yes, Android will continue to get updated as time goes on, but HTC simply didn’t plan for these memory intensize updates when the Dream was launched. There have been reports that the Google engineers worked long and hard just to get the Cupcake build to fit on the phone.
